2021 Range Rover vs Prosche Cayenne

Are you trying to find yourself the best luxury SUV around? Are you unsure where to start your search due to all of the different options available? We know that this entire process can be draining, especially if you are someone who doesn't quite know what they are looking for. We are here to tell you that we have narrowed down the luxury SUV lineup to two of the best models on the market. They include the 2021 Land Rover Range Rover and the 2021 Porsche Cayenne. The Range Rover makes a splash by including the Autobiography Fifty Edition, the HSE Westminster Edition, and available Cabin Air Ionization. This doesn't even touch on the off-roading ability and the posh interior. The Porsche Cayenne is a little more disappointing, having only added in a new trim for the 2021 model year. You'll still find many configurations and impressive performance. Keep reading down below to find out more!

2021 Land Rover Range Rover Power & Handling

While there are a few different places we could start when it comes to looking at these vehicles, what we're starting with is the kind of power you can find with the Range Rover. There are multiple engine options here, with all of them giving you an eight-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel drive. The base engine is a turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel V6, which produces 254 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. Another option is a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6, which produces 355 horsepower. You might also consider a supercharged 5.0-liter V8, cranking out 518 horsepower, or up to 557 horsepower. There's even a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 which is connected to a 105-kW electric motor.

2021 Porsche Cayenne Power & Handling

The Porsche Cayenne has its own engine lineup to try and compete with what you can find with the Range Rover. All of these engines come with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive. While we do like all-wheel drive, when it comes to off-roading, you'll be missing out on 4WD. The base engine is a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, which outputs 335 horsepower and 322 pound-feet of torque. Another engine option is a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6, getting you 434 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. You'll also find a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8, which offers up to 453 horsepower.

2021 Land Rover Range Rover Features & Design

Although power is definitely important, that doesn't cover everything that this vehicle can offer you. The Range Rover comes with a great list of features, including Terrain Response, leather upholstery, a power-gesture tailgate, tri-zone automatic climate control, a sliding panoramic moonroof, 14-way power front seats, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Some of the available features include four-zone climate control, soft-close doors, lane-keep assist, black exterior accents, a heated steering wheel, a perforated leather headliner, and power-reclining rear seats.

The very least thing we're checking out is how the Cayenne stacks up when it comes to features. Some of the standard ones here include Apple CarPlay, a navigation system, rain-sensing wipers, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and an 8-way power driver's seat. The rest of the lineup includes an air suspension, a power-adjustable steering column, a heated steering wheel, adaptive LED headlights, and a 14-speaker Bose audio system.

You have now been introduced to both the Range Rover and the Cayenne. While these are stylish vehicles, only one of them is worthy of being driven home. We firmly believe that the Range Rover is able to give you off-roading capabilities, while remaining posh, stylish, and fully capable of painting the town red.
