Trim Levels of the 2021 Defender

Brought to you by Land Rover North Dade

Are you on the lookout for a vehicle that can give you all of the off-roading capabilities you need, without sacrificing style? You should already know that Land Rover will have your back, and when it comes to the 2021 Defender, this is an SUV that is ready for anything that you might want to throw at it. This is a vehicle that boasts all of the customization you could need, true off-roading capabilities, high-tech safety, and a smooth ride, no matter whether you're on the road, or off of it. What we want to especially pay attention to are the trim levels that you'll be able to choose from. These trims give you the features you need for success and allow you to find the Defender with the right attitude. Keep reading down below to learn about these trim levels!

The very first trim that we are starting with is the base option. Here is where you will find all of the standard features, which you'll find throughout the lineup, no matter what. This includes an adjustable air suspension, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, 18-inch steel wheels, a six-speaker sound system, LED headlights, a 10-inch touchscreen, cloth seating, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and power-adjustable front seats. You can also expect to find safety technology like a 360-degree camera system, forward collision mitigation, blind-spot monitoring, and a lane-keeping system.

  • Body-colored roof
  • LED headlights
  • Keyless Entry

The S trim level rolls around with many of the same features that we have previously mentioned for the base trim. You'll also be getting an eight-speed automatic transmission as standard, and all-wheel drive. This is paired with a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that can output 296 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Additional features include upgraded power-adjustable front seats, leather and cloth upholstery, and 19-inch wheels.

  • Grained leather and Robust Woven Textile seat facings
  • 12-way semi-powered front seats
  • LED headlights with Auto High Beam Assist

Right after the S trim we are focusing on the SE model. Additional features here include a digital rearview mirror, a premium sound system, 20-inch wheels, and a power-adjustable steering column. This trim also gets a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, which is able to produce up to 406 pound-feet of torque and 395 horsepower.

  • ClearSight interior rear-view mirror
  • Electrically adjustable steering column
  • 20" Style 5094, 5 spoke
  • Dark Grey Brake Calipers

The penultimate trim that we are looking at is called HSE. You will find a lot of similarities between the SE and HSE models. The biggest difference is the addition of adaptive cruise control, premium leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, and even a panoramic sunroof.

  • Windsor leather 14-way heated and cooled electric memory front seats with 4-way manual headrests
  • 20" Style 5095, 5 split-spoke, Gloss Dark Grey with contrast Diamond Turned finish

The final trim that we are looking at with the 2021 Land Rover Defender is called X. This trim includes all-terrain tires, a head-up display, an upgraded 15-speaker sound system, special off-road driving modes, heated second-row seating, and torque-vectoring differential that can especially help with traction.

  • Black contrast roof and Narvik Gloss Black hood
  • Starlight Satin Chrome exterior accents
  • Orange brake calipers
  • Rear recovery eyes
